I don’t think the fear ever leaves. I’m an anxious person at the best of times but I’ve just tried to tell myself that our bodies are amazing - they know what to do. So long as your doing all the right things your body will do the rest 🥰
I have pretty intense anxiety but find that meditating is really helpful when my brain goes into overdrive. I hate hospitals so I tend to meditate the night before and morning of any appointment to calm nerves. My friend recommended Hypnobirthing with Anja on YouTube and I’ve been finding her uploads pretty helpful xx
I had this, although it was my 12 week scan (found out I’m only 10+6 today). I was in tears outside the sonogram room, worried that they were going to tell me something was wrong, or there was no heartbeat…I told the sonographer, and she quickly looked for one, and it was there. My best advice is when you go, be honest about how you feel, and hopefully they’ll try and stop any fears ❤️
