Going out in public

When did everyone feel comfortable taking their little one out in public? Did you guys wait until the 2 months vaccines?

Honestly I just had my baby 3 weeks ago and I’ve taken her lots of places. There’s nothing to worry about as long as you keep them at a distance from other people. I’ll either wear my baby or keep her in the car seat and nobody gets that close

Agree with Laina!!! We did the same thing!:)

Yeah somewhere in week 2 and I was out and about as well 👍

my baby is around 2-3 weeks nearly 1 month old and I am taking her out for nature walks so she gets use to the environment x

Week 2

3 weeks for my sanity

God I would have gone crazy not going out in public for 2 months. I took my son out for a few walks first couple weeks then we had a family meal when he was 3wks old that we went to. Then just for lunch etc on mat leave. I started taking him to baby classes from 16wks.

I took mine out in the first week. Its good to build up immunity and get fresh air :) but whenever you feel comfortable x

My baby is 6 days old and we went on our first little outing this morning. I personally think it's better for his immune system but it is what makes you feel comfortable 😌 xxx

My hubby forced me and baby to be out in a crowded place by even 4 days pp. after a c-section

Like 1 week?

I take my baby out into un-croweded places. Like target during the workday or to the pet store... If it looks busier than expected at the grocery store but I have to go in, I wear him.

The first week. Getting out of the house helps me and my mental health a lot. I remember specifically going to a celebration of life 2 hours away and the reactions we got when people heard he was 11 days was hilarious.
