my baby is combo fed with 2-3 feeds being breastmilk and the rest formula (i dont produce enough for all feeds) he poops like 3 times a day is this normal lol (going to contact his dr too just curious) side note: my supply is slowly increasing so he went from 1 bottle of breastmilk a day to 2-3!

How old is your baby? Sounds normal to me

@Samantha 10 weeks! he only used to poop once a day or every other day when he was only on formula

When my little girl was only drinking breast milk (early on as I am also an under producer lol) she pooped maybe once a day or once every other day. Now she has a similar combo feed as your little and poops all day long lol

Sounds normal. We were also told by our doctor that babies that get breast milk can go long stretches between BM's because their body is absorbing all the nutrients. She said some can go as long as a week, but that's the far end of the extreme

Did you start combo feeding bc of weight gain or direction from doctor? I’m considering moving towards this but I’m nervous!
