Baby drinking less of bottles

Hi everyone, wonder if anyone can help with any advice. My little boy is 10 weeks old and up until now was having 6 ounces every 3 hours. He would sometimes finish the bottle but often leave an ounce. But now he’s only drinking 3 ounces at a time and then refuses to have any more. He does then sometimes have the rest half an hour later but it’s really strange! Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any idea why this could be? Thank you 🥰

At 10 weeks my girl would only drink 2-3oz per bottle but lots of bottles during the day.

@Nikki that’s really interesting! Thank you! 💕

@Annie I will say her intake overall in the first 6m was all over it went from like 16oz up to 36oz a day and then back to about 26oz-28oz a day. As long as the wet diapers are frequent enough and he’s not crying because he’s hungry I’d say you’re ok but if you have any concerns definitely consult with a doctor

Does he have colic ? are the teets on the bottle big enough?

Yes for my babies it was normal I didnt follow the formula guide but made sure they were having enough throughout the day They would have less but more frequently But they both had reflux and i think it may be due to that Too much milk in one go made them very uncomfortable

Your baby is adorable btw

I had a similar issue, i switched from Aptamil to kendamil and he drinks a lot more.
