@Alina just that I need to go back in 2 weeks for another scan x
My daughter was on the 3rd centile. We were told that some babies are just small and what matters most is that she continues to track the centile line consistently rather than dropping further which could be a sign something was wrong. She ended being on the 25th at birth anyway.
I’m in the same boat, but less than the 3rd. I only found out last week so have my next scan next week to see how she’s doing! Feel your worry, so feel free to message me if you ever want to chat x
I wouldn’t worry- wait until your next scan and they will be able to tell you if everything is on track! i believe as long as they are following the predicted growth scale of that percentile then there isn’t too much of a worry. If they were concerned they would tell you for sure they have no reason to hide that from you xxx
My first baby measured smaller originally at 6th centile. So I had regular scans throughout… some babies just are smaller. I was super worried at the time to the point it was consuming and I got quite obsessive(we all want the best for our littles). If it’s any reassurance she was born absolutely fine, healthy and perfect :). When I got to 36 weeks her growth had dropped according to the scan to the 3rd so they wanted to induce (at 38 weeks) because the trajectory dropped. She came out bigger than they predicted at around 8/9th. So what I would say is the scans are there to guide and monitor and keep you and baby safe.. be kind to yourself, you’re doing an amazing job growing a whole human☺️☺️!
Did they say anything after scan?
