Anatomy scan

My anatomy scan is tomorrow and I have a question for everyone who’s already gotten it done. Do they let you see your baby the entire time during the scan? Or do they only turn the screen to show you at the end? I was under the impression that we got to see baby the entire time and was looking forward to it. (I know different clinics do different things but want to see what the majority says)

My husband and I both got to watch on a TV monitor the entire time 💖

I had mine today, ahd they let us watch the whole time, they did tell us to look away for gender per our request.

At my office, there is a screen for you to view and a separate one for the tech. The screen for the parent(s) is bigger so you can see everything as wel. hopefully it’s the same for yall 😊

They let us look the entire time! They did the gender check multiple times because our baby girl wasn’t cooperating and giving us a good enough look, but we already knew so we still watched. But that would be the only time they’d usually have you look away if you didn’t want to know gender!

Just left mine, I watched the whole time minus the gender at my request

Every ultrasound I've ever had I was able to watch the entire time. There's always been a large TV screen mounted up on the wall, basically mirroring the techs screen so sometimes also showing the still images they take and as they're adding labels. This time I'm being sent to a MFM (tomorrow) and was told that I won't have to wait for results from my doctor, they'll tell me while I'm there, so looking forward to that.

Mine was last Friday for our third child and we got to watch the whole time with all three of them. And they were each done in different states.

With our first the tech would tech her screen to show us a few things. With this pregnancy there’s a tv set up across from mom and the tech talked me through everything she saw and every measurement she took. It was absolutely amazing.

Watch the baby the whole time as he finds the finds the different part to label them
