Health visitor

Do they still do a 6 month check up? I haven’t had a letter or phone call to book one in

Think it's 9 months

As far as I’m aware no (but it’s very area dependent) usually down to staffing levels- there is a 9-12 month check up where your child is offered their 1 year development review.

i think they’ve changed it to 7 months, my last one was when my girl was 3/4 months and my health visitor said ‘i’ll contact you just before she’s 7 months to book in for her 7 month visit’. it could be different for different areas though! x

No it’s around 10 Months now

I think it should be 6/7months. The HV here did a group session where they gave advice on starting weaning

I saw the health visitor at 6 weeks and she gave all weaning advice then as she said she would next see us at 12 months

It's 9 months

I didn’t get a 6 months HV chech. They booked me in for a 10 month check. But I think it is different in different areas!

different in different areas. it’s 6 months in my area. never heard of them booking this in through a phone call or letter though ? never heard of hvs being so formal though either tbh😂my hv just sends me a text to ask when i’m free and i let her know days and times and we arrange a visit from there🤷🏻‍♀️
