Cradle cap?

My 8 week old just started getting flaky skin on his head. Everyone keeps saying it cradle cap but I thought babies were born with it? Not develop it. Is it cradle cap?

My daughter wasn’t born with it and developed it the first couple of months. She still has some at 14.5 months old. It’s been coming out in waves on its own. You can try shampoo for it if it bothers you!

My daughter developed flaky skin, I would just try get it checked especially if you notice he’s scratching it. My daughter has regular appointments with a dermatologist because hers turned out to be related to eczema. As per the derm cradle cap does not cause itch.

It does look like cradle cap. I used to use Happy Cappy Shampoo and it worked really well, got it on Amazon. I used it on my baby even after he turned 2.

Thankyou girls so much! This was so helpful 💞

Cradle cap. I use dentinox as a shampoo.

They aren't born with it. Cradle cap is something that develops.

I used baby scalp oil left it for a hour so it goes soft, brushed it with a soft comb then used dentinox and worked within a couple days x

Both my sons developed it, my 2 year old still has some and my 6 month old has it too. Little bit of baby oil and a comb will help it however it’s also totally fine to just leave it

Get the Frida brush from Amazon. Guaranteed it will be gone within a few days x

My LB got it at 6 weeks old, our health visitor recommended Vaseline and a soft bristled brush which seemed to work🩵

Mine wasn’t born with it, he just got it through out the first couple months. I recommend dentinox, works like magic!

Frida cradle cap system, along with coconut oil in their hair 5-10mins before bath will clear it up quickly. Just be prepared for him to lose some hair as the flakes come off. It'll come back and be healthier.
