Typically your first scan isn't until 12 weeks. Hospital scans are at 12 weeks 20 weeks 32 weeks and 36 weeks I hope this helps, If you want to have any scans privately. I found "window to the womb" was a lovely experience if you don't mind paying for it. They sell frames and heart beat bears too and they do 4D scans... highly recommend, especially with your first baby x
I had my scan booked for 7 weeks and I was measuring 5 weeks 6 days so didn’t see a lot and they mentioned there wouldn’t be a heart beat yet, so going back at 9 weeks , ngl it has made me panic more so I would wait as long as you can for booking a private scan - like they said to me the longer you wait the more you see 🥰
I was like this with my daughter, I went for a private scan at 9 weeks just to give me peace of mind and doing it again this time, after that I felt fine, I would try keep busy I’ve found that my first pregnancy I was worring about every little thing and with this one I’m so busy with my daughter weeks are flying in xx
i had a scan at 7 weeks but was to confirm baby was in right place, hospital scan at 12 weeks. i go private to see my boy now as hospital don’t offer any more scans unless needed. try to not panic too much, if your worried/ concerned call the midwives. it’s better to feel assured xxx
I’ve got my first scan when I’m 12 weeks x
I was also really worried, but I had a private scan at 7 weeks. It has really calmed me down now that I know they’re in the right place, growing as expected and had a fast heartbeat flickering away. At 7 weeks, there’s a clear little bean to see on a scan but also not much detail as it’s still quite early. The peace of mine was worth the cost for me. Hope you can feel calmer soon too!

I’ve been in exactly your position. Google things but try not to take any results to seriously. I had a scan at 7 weeks and could see heart beats, then whenever I felt worried I just went and had a private scan to make me feel better. I decided it was worth the money to feel reassured.
