Keep upright for 20 minutes used to help my son
Prop your crib up slightly so they’re not lying completely flat. Do this by putting something under the feet of the crib, don’t put anything under the mattress etc. Burp them half way through a feed or more, keep them upright for at least 20 minutes after a feed, try and do smaller more frequent feeds as opposed to big feeds, burp them for a minimum of 15 minutes or so. If using formula you can get anti reflux ones, or you can get things like gripe water. If it gets really bad you can contact GP and ask for Gaviscon sachets or omeprazole but they’re quite reluctant to prescribe it for some reason - I had to beg them with my first baby lol! If you do get it, request that they give you some lactulose alongside it as they can cause constipation. Last thing you want to do is fix one thing but cause something else. Hope this helps xxx
