Poo’ing more

I am just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.. my little boy is 6 months, we started weaning few weeks back with baby rice and porridge and this week we have introduced different veg each day. Today he has been pooing constantly throughout and has not long woken up which he never does for a nappy change. He is also showing shows of teething.. is this just simply due to teething and weaning?
