Same here! It's actually impossible to get anything done at all. I'm just hoping it gets easier week by week, because it surely has to?!
Same here! I think my newborn does not like when her sister cries…
Hahaha yes having them both in the same room after nursery is a nightmare. Newborn wants to sleep, Toodler is super loud and wants attention!
Oh thank god. Cause I feel like I’m Failing !! The baby is sooooo needy too and my toodler is super busy 🥹 I pray this gets easier ! I took them out together on my own the other day and it went horrifically😂
Yep finding it really hard.my toddler wants more attention now and I feel so guilty when i can't give it. She currently also has a cold and struggling with managing both.
@Nisha awwwh literally same ! The mum guilt is BEYOND !! No one tells you about this do they !🥹
Literally just over 12 months with my two and the baby has cmpa so has been horredous with that, and a complete koala baby and now has croup so is even more needy which is understandable. The toddler uses me as a human climbing frame, and wants my undivided attention which just isn't possible. They're both like pooing machines and feel like I'm constantly doing a circuit race of nappy changes and changing outfits and getting out the house is neon impossible on my own 🤣 oh and when one goes down for a nap the other one wakes so any free time to catch up on housework/chores just doesn't happen.
I don’t like that you can’t settle both at the same time when they both need you 😭
@Jess 12 months 😭 I was hoping you were going to say it gets easier !
@Claire don’t ! My partners going on his Xmas do next week and I’m DREADINg bedtime On my Own
First month was hell for me, I’ll be honest. It gets easier. But yeah.. it was survival mode. I’ve had to change things up to help cope and be a bit more lenient with things otherwise I’ll burn out lol
@Serena omg thisss. Why the hell the newborn have to wake up exactly the same time as the toddler. Toddler ready to wreck the house. Newborn ready to scream if not fed instantly. Bed time is sometimes the worst. Once I had the newborn screaming for over an hour. Witching hour. The toddler decided that he didn’t want to sleep and started zooming around, copying the newborn scream, pulling books of shelves and pulling at the blinds. 🫠
It's by far the hardest part of parenting so far. Give me strength 🙏
I've got a three week old and a three year old and so far it's been busy 🙃

My toddler is 22 months, some days are easy some are hard. Usually depends how much the baby is sleeping /happy to be put down. When baby's having a clingy day I just use the wrap a lot. Thankfully toddler still naps which is a god send! My husband is away all this week now though so I've got a full week of solo bedtimes which I'm not looking forward 🙈 dinner times will probably mainly be oven pizza and pasta bakes ha ha
Yep I'm finding it really hard giving my time to both of them the way they want and need. They are both in sync and it's chaos when they both start at the same time too :(
