Losing my mind

Hello mums, has your little one changed since they turned 1? My LG had her vaccines on Tuesday and I am not sure if it is related or not (it has ben a long week!). I hardly remember if this was a behaviour beforehand. Anyway, my baby girl is suddenly very clingy and cries as soon as I let go of her. For example she will sit in her high chair to eat and then normally I will place her on the floor to drink her water and play with no issue. But now she wants me to hold her in my arms until she is happy for me to leave her on her own. If she wants me that is it, no toy, no daddy or anything will change her mind. I am loosing my mind with the constant crying and demand. Any advise? Anyone experienced this and can tell me it is a phase? It feels like she has so much energy and she does not know what to do with it except cry for me. A picture of my monkey! 🙈

My son has got so much energy as well! This also happened as soon as he turned one!

@Saiqa I am glad I am not alone in this. She used to be so quiet and content. 🥴RIP baby moments. Has your LB start walking? Mine not yet, possibly a reason too for the overwhelming behaviour?

@Suzanna he hasn’t started walking yet either. That is also a reason for them to be like this. I think they just want to explore and just can’t walk which makes them frustrated.

Same but he's been like it since about 9 months. He's just gone 1yr.

Thank you ladies. We are in the same boat as I gather. I am finding it hard honestly to understand her and help her. I think it is a combination of things..Want to explore more, vaccines, koving from formula to cows milk and teething. Just today she wanted me to hold her in my arms but not sit down. She would not have any of it, she was crying so much I took her out for a walk in the buggy. 🥴😔 I hope we both survive this. Sending you all positive thoughts xx
