Hair loss tips
How much hair is too much to lose? I’m absolutely devastated every time I brush or wash my hair 😓 I had extremely thin hair before and it’s now coming out in lumps like this.
Does anyone have any tips to help my hair stay healthy? Or slow down the hair loss? I’m taking moringa, postnatal vitamins and collagen supplements but it’s still coming out in masses.
Hi, I would suggest to make sure your nutrition is optimal for hair growth: Eat lots of protein (people often underestimate how much protein they need, and if you do not get enough, the nutrients will go towards the vital body functions: Unfortunately, hair is not one of them), iron-rich food (the vast majority of hairloss is due to iron deficiencies), and vegetables. I would recommend to eat postnatal multivitamins, especially if you are breastfeeding. Try (as much as possible) to reduce your stress: meditation, walks or any other relaxing activity might help. Make sure your scalp is in a good condition: Both internal (nutrition, stress management, sleep...) and external (hair care routine) practices need to be addressed when managing hairloss. I hope this helps!
