Early pregnancy scans!

Has anyone had an early pregnancy scan yet? I am not sure when is best to go. My due date is 07/08/25 and I am trying to be patient, but it’s so hard! I have booked a scan for 20/12/24 to hopefully reassure myself that everything is fine before telling some close family (there is no way they won’t clock on if I don’t drink over Christmas)! Anyone else thinking about getting an early scan?

I’m gonna go to mine on 23rd dec. I’ll be 8w1d!

I had loads of them with my 8 month old! I had a 6w, 8w, 10w, 12w, 16w, 20w, 26w (4D) but then had to go back 4 times every week as she wouldn’t sit properly so I got so many!! Then had growth scans every 2 weeks from 28 weeks till 36 weeks!

I’m going for mine on 14th dec, I’ve booked a private one for reassurance. I’ll be 7w 2d

Due on 2-3rd august and i had one at 4weeks6 :) got my next at 6weeks3 and 6 weeks5 and than at probably 8-9 and 10 weeks and 12 x

I’ve booked mine for the 20th of December too.🥰 I’ll be exactly 8 weeks.

Are there any places you can recommend for the early scans? I’ve realised that the NHS ones take a while..I’m currently navigating my first pregnancy. Any recommendations would be super helpful!
