Health visitor visits

Aw we have ours tomorrow too! Don’t be worried, it’s not to judge you at all just to make sure your little one is coming along as they should so that they can help/highlight if needed, anything that may affect them continuing to develop 🙂 I’m sure your little one is doing just fine and after you will wonder what you were worrying about 🫶🏼

Have you filled out your questionnaire to take with you?

I’ve got mine tomorrow too at a different place to usual as I had to reschedule due to my LB being poorly, I’m nervous as I’ve lost my questionnaire and that they’re going to be judgy about my LB milk intake and sleeping situation like they always do for us 🙄

@Ellis we haven’t been sent a questionnaire so I don’t really know what to expect. I know they’re there to help but I feel like they’ve been judgy before as we live in a flat. Hopefully it’ll all fly over and be okay.

I had ours early at 9 months by request due to gross motor issues which ended up not being a problem but her communication seems to be on the slow side. Anyway. It was fine and she was really nice. My daughter loved it as she got to play with some different toys and lady made a fuss of her for 40 mins haha.

Oh really?? What area are you in? All 3 of my kids it’s been routine to have a 10-12 month questionnaire to fill in that you can tick off such as rolling over/smiling/babbling etc. maybe it’s different where you are then… Why are they judging you because you live in a flat 🤨 hundreds/thousands of people do…Sorry to hear they make you feel like that. In that case I don’t blame you if they mention things like that! Xx Ours have always been really nice and concentrated on the child’s milestones. Xx

@Hollie ahhh can you find the questionnaire online do you think? do you have a printer?

I don’t have a printer, I found a few online but I can’t remember what mine looked like! A few mums have told me they haven’t taken theirs or never been given one or gone through it at the review so I’m just going without it, they can ask me and I’ll know the answers anyways and they can see for themselves 😅

We had ours on Friday. She arrived while my baby was having breaskfast and we just went through the questionnaire and chatted about my mental health. She asked if I had ant worries and then said see you at the 2 year 3 month review x

We had ours this week and honestly it was so chilled. The HV was really sweet and just asked a few bogstandard questions, answered ours and send us our way. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it
