No one ever shares their hardships on social media. It's not always rainbows, unicorns, and sunshine. I'm in a financial hole at the moment but have decided my 8 month old doesn't need tonnes of gifts for his first Christmas, so he's getting a practical gift, a new cot. Toys etc are being given by family. I've come to realise that you can still make amazing memories, well within your means. 🎄🤶🎅
@Fern it’s definitely easier when they are babies as they won’t remember but mine are at the age where they will remember and notice what’s going on around them. It’s just hard in this day and age. I am happy with my kids presents but I’m noticing as they are getting older they want more and more expensive things like laptops, gaming consoles, mobile phones and on top of all that you have your day to day living to do aswell as trying to give them a great Xmas time doing other stuff 🙈 how do people justify it all xx
You need to stop thinking this way as it is not true. Facebook and instagram is full of unhappy people creating amazing life style and pretending life is great. Your kids will remember how much time you had for them and how much you love them ❤️💋
