Scared to do the deed again.

I’m only 3 weeks pp so it’s not happening anytime soon. But I cannot help feeling scared to have sex again. I will 100% be waiting for 6+ weeks pp and for the doctors to say all is good but in my head all I can think is it’s going to hurt inside due to the amount of layers that have been cut open and stitched. Hoping for some reassurance for when this does eventually happen.

After natural birth i did wait 8weeks, so after c section I would not even consider to do it earlier😅🫣 My husband is prepared mentally ,after first one , he knows it is difficult period for us..

I am in the same boat. We are both very very ready but I’m 6 weeks pp today and scared to do so. We are waiting until I am back on contraception though and will be taking extra precaution.

I waited 8 weeks after my section and it didn’t hurt at all. No tugging or pains like I would have expected. The more healed you are the less stress on your core. Just no gymnastics in the bedroom 😂 go vanilla and slow to start building your confidence. Use protection due to being fertile after birth and use lube if you are breastfeeding. BF hormones dries you up downstairs so just avoid that discomfort.

Honestly after section I can assure you your vagina is fine 🤣 it doesn’t hurt inside at all, you just need to be in a comfy position, I recommend on your back with your legs hanging off the edge of the bed/lent on your partner 🤣

I waited 6 weeks with my last csection the only thing that bothered me was my actual incision.

I was also very scared, but in a way I’m glad i had a c section because sex didn’t hurt at all, I think I was 8 weeks pp when I had sex for the first time, as long as you wait till your stitches are healed I wouldn’t worry to much and make it known to your partner just to not put to much pressure on your scar because still might be a little sore or numb so not the best feeling but the sex part shouldn’t hurt
