Toddlerhood 🤯

I bet it’s an unpopular opinion, but gosh, can’t wait for my toddler to be older. I’m not enjoying this stage, everything is so hard and she’s definitely extra “lively”. Can’t wait, lol! 😬🤣🙈 I’ve got an older one too, so I know exactly that there are different challenges, but so much easier and enjoyable 🫣 xx anyone else with me? 🤩

Definitely. We have had non stop meltdowns today and I'm counting down until bedtime. Even then they won't sleep

I wouldn't say i can't wait for my little girl to be older as I don't want to wish time away but I'm ready for this phase to be done!!

As much as she makes me laugh and enjoying seeing her little mind expand, I am 100% with you! It’s really tough & I just think about how much more their little world opens once they get older too

Yep, I’m the same! I know people say to enjoy this stage as they grow so quickly but when it’s been full on meltdowns all day, refusing to get changed or get in the car seat, I literally can’t wait for them to be older!

@Uzma I feel you! I must say, I cringe when I hear the phrase about enjoying it and then growing so quickly. As a SAHM with zero support/village, it feels like years , so lovely when they are not older as bit easier. Each stage has its ups and downs. X

The newborn stage was hard for me, I find the toddler stage easier with not having bottles and him eating normal food etc… but the meltdowns are a challenge.

@claire I agree! Got a 2 week old and 2 year old and I’d pick the toddler stage any day😂 atleast he can communicate what he needs/wants to me🙈

@Elsha it’s funny how we enjoy and how we experience different stages. I find I was less tired with the newborn, whereas now, I find it hard to do anything without her following, demanding things. It’s hard to even make a quick dinner, she comes abbé wants something, even tv on, things to occupy her and one snack don’t seem to be enough. It’s mentally draining for me. When she was a newborn/ infant, I’d pity her in a bouncy chair with some Toys, nursery rhymes in, bit of singing etc. So much easier. X
