My kids both loved the Corduroy books. They memorized them word for word. They also like Curious George. 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins is a special treat when I'm up for a long read. And How the Grinch Stole Christmas is great for December.

My son loves the Jonny Diddle books (he’s obsessed with Dino’s and pirates!) Have you tried taking them to a book shop and letting them choose one? The knight that wouldn’t fight is a BIG fav at the moment. We both know it word for word!
My 3yr old loves dinosaur books, mainly fact books than story books. Pokemon stories. He loves the ready steady series. General nursery stories like goldie locks, 3 little pigs etc. going on a bear hunt. Likes farmer Fred aswell.

Anything that Julia Donaldson has written. The Gruffalo is probably her most well-known one, but she has quite a few others. We also read the 5 minute stories book collections pretty frequently. We have the Daniel Tiger, Bluey, and Pinkalicious ones, but there are so many more.
My son loves “where do diggers sleep at night?” And my nephew loves “The book with no pictures” it’s cute and funny I plan on getting it for my son when he is 4 or 5!

@Dolly If they love trucks then that one is perfect! Some other good ones are goodnight goodnight construction site, Construction site on Christmas night, and little blue truck! My son is very truck obsessed 😂
Oh also you should look at imagination library and see if it’s where you live yet if it is your boys could get a free book every month!
