Used something similar when she was a baby. Absolutely will not let me now she's older. I use baby scissors for my daughter who's almost the same age and have ms Rachel on whilst I do it

@Natalie my girl doesnā€™t watch tv so canā€™t use that distraction šŸ˜‚ thank you for the suggestion x

@Fay mine doesn't watch much. I have done them without it on though and she's good with baby scissors.

@Natalie my daughter wonā€™t let me use scissors or clippers x

@Fay are you trying normal ones or the baby ones with the rounded ends?

@Natalie Iā€™ve tried both types šŸ˜„

@Fay that sucks. My daughter flinches away from the type you've linked and when trying it on myself I see why.

In my opinionā€¦ great when theyā€™re newborns and canā€™t move much but be careful because I scratched my girl on accident because their skin is still so delicate. Now sheā€™s 2, we play the ā€œclipā€ game and when she hears her nails get ā€œclippedā€ she says the word. We do that for all of them and then she goes, all done clip šŸ¤£ Iā€™ll get her toe nails when sheā€™s eating on her high chair. Iā€™ve been using a nail clipper for like a year now and sheā€™s so used to it I think sheā€™s ready for the nail salon haha

@Izzy nail salon is going to be on the cards soon šŸ¤£ if my girl doesnā€™t let me cut hers x

i use these with my 2 year old but she is a bit of a nightmare to keep still awhile doing itšŸ˜…

I loved this when my daughter was a newborn, now clippers do a better job, she is 1.5. I clip her nails when she is sleep

My girl went through a phase where she didnā€™t want me to cut her nails. Someone told me to try if she let someone else do it. So grandparents or a friend cut her nails with no problem , until she was ok for me to do it again a few weeks later šŸ˜‚

I like mine. Itā€™s still hard though. Sometimes my son holds the file while I swoop in with the regular clippers. Whatā€™s been working lately is taking turns. He can use it to file my nails then itā€™s my turn to do his. It can still take me 2 days to get them done even when he is ā€œcooperatingā€ Good luck, Good product though

Just use the scissors but when sheā€™s sleeping

It is a life saver !!!! So safe, you canā€™t hurt your baby, and baby nails are growing sooooo fast ! My baby was trying to scratch his face when he was 1months until his 6months and to avoid him hurting himself we had to cut it very short and this tool save us ! (Now he is scratching me šŸ¤£šŸ¤£) Little warning though: change the pad regularly when you feel it is not efficient šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ we didnā€™t for 4months and hum it took ages at the end just because we are stupid šŸ˜…šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Iā€™ve been using this type of thing since my son was a newborn. Very helpful

I cut my little girls finger when she was really small using this, I switched to small clippers and find them much easier x

I use them and think they are great!

My son is 10 months and weā€™ve used ours every 3-4 days since birth as his nails grow so fast. I LOVED it as whenever I tried the clippers there were still sharp edges

Amazing! My little girl hated getting her nails cut and these helped so much xx

Yeah until they baby Hahha now 12 month not letting me use on him but great for newborns

@Fay I have one that Iā€™ve only used once when she was born so brand new. I can post it on my vinted for Ā£1 + postage if you want it x

Iā€™d suggest using nail scissors or baby clippers from early, as sometimes the transition from this to the other tools can be really intimidating or scary for kids, as theyā€™ll be used to them from an early age, but if it makes your life easier then Iā€™d say use it, as you when theyā€™re newborn they can be very fidgety so do what youā€™re comfortable with xx

@Maryam used them since 4 days old and she flinched away after like 5th time of using them and I caught her so Iā€™m scared to do it now x

Na

Mine broke after 2 months

Love it! I use these on my 9 month old, he sits still and watches fascinatingly šŸ˜ I started using it when he was a newborn. Works wonders because they donā€™t hurt or scratch the skin x

I used to use these when my son was tiney, but I found it difficult to do the edges. Now he's okay with little nail clippers. On the odd occassion when he's been tired and a bit cranky I'll trim my nails and then we take it in turns. Distraction while being held in one place (high chair, bath, etc) worked well for us too previously. A few friends said they used a torch and did nails while their little ones were asleep too. šŸ¤ž Hope you find a way that works for your little lady!

I love mine!!

Donā€™t think. Just get it. I use it weekly

I use mine weekly love it

Yes!

I never used one of these because he moved too much, as he got older I cut mine in front of my son (2) a few times, I let him practice on me and he got excited and he started wanting his cut with normal clippersšŸ˜‚x
