In a big tuff tray you can have Oat meal, cooked pasta, gloop.
Cornflour and water to make gloop (can then add food colouring, jelly, desicated coconut (snowy scheme), chocolate biscotti broken down with water to make ‘mud’, water play with orange/lemon slices
Greek yogurt paint (food colouring in yogurt), painting in a zip lock bag or under cling film
My LO loves playing with sugar free jelly, I put it in a baking dish so she can’t tip it over. She gets bored quickly, but will sit there for 45 minuets completely mesmerised
Bowl of cheerios in high chair. Dry no milk. Spends ages flinging them around room.
Honestly just use household items. Pasta beans, pulses, flour.... Get creative use food colouring and just add toys to it. (ex teaching assistant) should I do a group for at home play ideas... Might help a lot of mums out)
@Asia (Asiya) yes please!!
@Christina will do. I will Messege on this post once I have. So whoever wants to join can.
Hey! Glad you posted this, I'd love some ideas too! Besides letting baby play with his yoghurt etc at the high chair I haven't done anything but was thinking of finger painting for christmas cards? 🎄
