Thoughts on drop off time

So my daughter has every other weekend with her dad. He picks up at 5pm on Saturday and drops back on 5pm on Sunday. This Sunday is her weekend with her dad, I’ve been invited to a 1st birthday party in Wimbledon (I live in West Sussex) what are thoughts on having my babysitter (who my daughter has met many of times and adores) to be here to meet my daughter while I’m travelling back from the party? Tia. I just don’t want to do anything wrong

Could you ask him to bring her back a little later instead? I wouldn’t be comfortable handing my son (11) over for a babysitter when going to his dads and I wouldn’t be comfortable handing my SD (7) over to a babysitter when going back to mums

@Amy yea so I was first going to ask him if he would like to drop her off at 6/6:30. It was if his answer was no then thoughts on that, that was all. But I’ll definitely go with him first as it’s his daughter! Thank you

I’d just say heads up I’m out Sunday I can either grab X before I go out or after I get back around 6/6:30 let me know

If it was me I would want the handover to be between me and their dad but totally understand if that can't happen so as long as everyone is okay with that it shouldn't be a problem

If he doesn't agree to have her a little later, could you leave the party early to make sure you are back on time? I wouldn't be comfortable having her dropped off with a babysitter
