Wow! How was it? I'm mortally scared of having a breech baby because I don't ever want a C section so it's good to know it's possible.

C-section wasn’t option as it all happened too quick from first contraction to birth was about 2 hours, I mean I managed it no drugs or anything and I’m up and about and being discharged this afternoon, it’s hard, but the midwives said they usually opt for c section but it is possible naturally but they’ll usually plan for me drs etc to be there

Sorry if it’s tmi.. what type of breech position was the baby born in? Also I heard apparently it can really tear you badly, is this true? My baby is currently breach but I’d like a natural birth if baby stays breech but worried

My son came out bum first, and actually I only had one small tear from it, of course everyone is different. I actually had worse tears with my first and he was born in the normal position. I was told by the midwives that they would normally have a team prepped and ready for a breech birth when they’re aware that the baby is in breech position, however, mine was not known to be breech and two days prior was apparently head down
