Or just wrap up well and get outside anyway
We got kittens! The kids are great with them so far, and the cats have enough energy to match the kids all morning. (They sleep all afternoon, though) When it is not actively raining (we are not in a snowy area), I will let the kids go out and splash in puddles and dig in the mud. When they are done, I strip them down and put them straight in the bath, easy peasy. I also like to do my home/organization projects. (Right now I'm scanning and getting rid of old paper) If we need supplies, the kids love to go to the store. They love going to the home improvement stores (Lowes, home depot) but they particularly love seeing all of Christmas inflatables and decorations. I took them through hobby lobby the other day just to look at new ornaments, toys, and Christmas crafts. My kids love stores... 🤣
As long as it is not raining, we still take our little boy to the park. Just make sure we dress him up warm. On the not so nice days, we take him to soft play places.
We do lots of at home activities, baking, crafts, reading, playing etc! Then go to the library, the cinema, soft play, the shops, local museums etc! We do also use screen time at home, snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie etc! X
Following to be prepared 😁
