Also I did sherwood forest and it was great. They have a mini market on site that has everything you need but obviously pricier then usual. You can get there from 9am I think on youre first day so even though you can't get into you're lodge until 4 you can use all the facilities like swimming, restaurants etc to really make the most of that first day. There's also soft play in majority of the restaurants. X
@Natasha thank you, it sounds really lovely! Is there slides in the pool suitable for big and little ones? The pictures on their website really don’t show much! X
I 100% recomend CP. The swimming is incredible and so many different pools, slides and rapids etc. There's a nice park too. When we went my niece was 2 and they did swimming am and park afternoon or vice versa. They did 2 activities across the week which was football and music class I think which she loved. But equally if you're little one loves bikes or scooters etc there's so many paths and places to play on that too. Plan you're meals and take you're own food there's a small fridge freezer in the lodge and this massively keeps cost down. Also not sure if this helps but about 4 months before you go you can pre book/pay for activities and things like that so maybe if you book one every month or so it won't feel like you're spending it once you're there (girl math i know 😂) Honestly I went for the first time with my 6 month old this year and its amazing. We're going again in march before I go back to work and the atmosphere is lovely and so family friendly. X
