I had maybe 6 braxton hicks in total from 34 weeks onwards and that was it. It felt like a belly cramp and lasted maybe 30 seconds x
I didn’t have any at all through my first pregnancy!
I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow and this is my first pregnancy I haven't had braxton hix yet all I get is very hard belly
Its not a definite that you'll get them
Never had any Braxton hicks with my first, at least never felt them. The first time I felt a contraction was when I was in labour. I'm currently nearly 30 weeks with my second and haven't felt any yet this time either 🤷
I didn’t get them until 39w 😊
@Carla these are what my braxton Hicks felt like, no pain, just a solid tummy for up to a minute, confirmed by midwife as I had one during a check up.
I didn’t have any and only had light contractions when the day came to go into labour so it depends each person is different
I'm 38 weeks and don't think I have tbh, I've had slight cramps and slight tightening but never pain like they describe. I wouldn't worry if you haven't, the same with baby kicks at 16 weeks I never knew what they were meant to feel like so didn't notice until they were proper kicks, as long as baby is ok don't bother worrying if you are feeling enough pain! 🫣😂
