Is Elsa too Disney? 🇬🇧

It shouldn’t matter either way if you love it! 💯✨ it’s a lovely name! And there’s nothing wrong with Disney 🥰 she will be your lil princess anyway!!

Nah, I went to school with a few Jasmines and don’t think I ever thought they were Disney names in the 90s with Aladdin xx

What about Elsie instead of Elsa? Both are cute names 😃

So is Aurora, and Jasmine and it’s commonly used too. If you like it go for it. I like the name Annabelle for a daughter and I worry people are going to associate it the haunted doll movie, I get the concern. Due to that I might go with Annabella instead but I am still using the name.

Personally all I think about is Disney as it wasn’t a popular name at all until frozen and frozen became a big hit. Where as other Disney names like jasmine have always been fairly popular names and the films weren’t such a recent boom which separates the name from being associated as such

My sister is 28 and is Elsa, I never think of it as Disney. It’s such a beautiful name ❤️

One of my best friends growing up was named Elsa. Even though I am an avid Frozen fan and watcher, I never associated her name with Princess Elsa until just now haha. I’m sure you’ll get some people that say “oh like Frozen!” But I think you’ll also get many people like me that knew this name way before any of that. It may get annoying with the movie connotations but whatever her name, something will find a way to annoy her. I used to HATE being called “Kelly belly” or “Kelly belly full of jelly”. I thought people were insinuating I was fat. Even when they’d say this to me at like 4 years old, I thought it was them calling me fat. So ridiculous 🤣. But I’m sure most people have had something that bugged them about their name at some point.

If elsas too disney then so is Anna by association, if you like a name, go with it ☺️

I do think about frozen when I hear it, but it’s not like an over powering thought, if that makes sense LOL like the association is there for sure but it’s a gorgeous name regardless!
