Inner thoughts

Has anyone ever felt like they needed closure from bd? Long story short, it’s been about 2 almost 3 years since I stopped being with my bd. I gave myself a year to focus on my new life as a mom and to heal from everything that he’s done to me. That consisted on putting his hands on me pregnant and not pregnant, as well as emotional abuse, and I’ll include financial since he did crash my car which caused me to have an additional bill now 😅. But I’m now almost a year into my new relationship and I’m happy. I’m not sure why thoughts about asking my bd questions regarding our past have been circulating in my head recently. If you guys know Morgan on Tik Tok, her recent video different did trigger some more thoughts as well. Just questions about why he did the things that he did, just about everything. I know hurt people hurt people. We don’t speak unless it’s about my child, and even that is rare. The most we’ve spoken since we were finish was during our child support court dates. Any thoughts/advice is appreciated.
