Early Scan

Hi all! I had my first ultrasound for this pregnancy today (5w1d) and this is what it looks like.. I was told that the bigger sac is definitely a gestational sac and that the other one is either a cyst or a second gestational sac… well obviously I’m freaking out! I have another US scheduled for next week so they can confirm. I’ll just go crazy till then 🥲 Will keep y’all posted! Anyone else have early scans they can share?

Good luck. I had uterine fibroids several years ago that showed up on an ultra sound like that and fortunately they caught and removed them. Sending all sorts of positivity!

@Marie I actually have a fibroid that I’ve been aware of for a while! The tech said it’s definitely not a fibroid but that it could be a small cyst.. either way I’m honestly so happy with having one OR two in there 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just have to wait and see. I’m glad they were able to remove yours!

My first US will be next week when I am 5 weeks and 5 days. What does it mean if it is a second sac? Thank you! Goodluck 🤍
