Biting off another post

I saw a poll about forgetting your anniversary. My question is. Which anniversary do you celebrate if you’re not married yet but engaged. If it’s the engagement day, do you just not count the time before that ? (I guess that includes marriage too).

Both, if we remember either, 😅😂 we also have the date we matched on tinder and had our first conversation too as it was the day of lockdown! 🤣

The day we became official I don’t actually remember what day we got engaged But now we are married and likely will only celebrate that date moving forward not when we started dating

I don't remember the day we got engaged but we got married on the same day we started dating. That way we only have one anniversary lol

We celebrate not huge but we still acknowledge when we started dating and our wedding anniversary. Our dating anniversary is leap year day that’s why we keep that one around bc it’s fun ☺️ I don’t remember the exact day we got engaged as it wasn’t exactly a proposal 😅

We did it differently. Our "became offical" anniversary is January 11th. My husband also proposed to me on Jan 11th and then wr decided to keep the date as something special so we got married on Jan 11th.

Our first date was January 27th, and we’ve been together since, so we celebrate that day. And we got married on August 27th 4 years later, so that’s our big anniversary date. It’s just an excuse to get dressed up and go to a fancy dinner, because our monthly date nights are pretty lowkey, especially now with our son.

We celebrate our wedding anniversary and then our normal anniversary! So we’ve been married 5 years and together 11. We never do much but sometimes we will get a take away, have a at home date night he might get flowers etc

Only the date we got married. If people ask I'll say how many years we have been together but it's mainly just married and even that we don't do much for
