How do I know baby is ok after head hurt?

I was holding my baby in my arms outside, when I accidentally tripped & we both fell, he cried so much:( Firstly, i feel so guilty. Secondly, for at least 1 hour he seemed traumatized- wasn’t himself. Kept tripping. Didn’t wanna play, or do anything & was expressionless. But after around an hour he seems back to his smiling & active self. But Im so paranoid now. Please tell me, is this normal? Will my baby be ok?

Go to A&E

That’s not normal, definitely time to go to A&E

@Nattinan even if he seems normal now?

Yes I’d definitely take to a&e to be on the safe side

If it were my child I’d do that just to be safe xx

Call 111. But id definitely go down to a&e just to be safe, i hope you and lo are ok x

Fingers crossed LO is just confused by his head hurting but sounds like he may have a concussion, so as everyone else has said.... off to A&E with you to get a once over. For future reference, if they are acting completely normal (though understandably upset) afterwards and there is no swelling, then just keep and eye and all good. Any signs of them being dizzy, not 100% with it or feeling ill, then call 111 or go to A&E.

The first thing they ask you when you go in is if they have fallen over more than normal, and if they have zoned out etc so Id say 100% go to a&e to be safe

a&e!! x

Go to emergency

Definitely go to A&E. Even if they seem normal now, they haven't been acting themselves which is a big concern. Also when my boy had a head injury they said they can seem normal but symptoms of concussion can appear up to a week after the injury has occurred!

I hope you took the little one to A & E to be checked over please let us know with an update x
