Anterior placenta and previous c section scar

Hi , my first was an emergency c section after reaching 10cm dilation This is my 2nd pregnancy - i had my 20 week scan and I have an anterior placenta which explains why I’m not feeling the movements from my baby at the moment I was hoping if any of you lovely mums who have experienced this, what does this mean for me and my baby? Any complications I should be wary about? I’m going down a rabbit hole on Google and it’s making me anxious 😥

Anterior placenta shouldn’t lead to any other comps from what I was told. I ended up with an elective c-section 2nd time around due to gestational diabetes

Did they say anything else about the placenta other than it being anterior? Is it low lying or did they mention anything abnormal?

@Valerie they didnt say if it’s abnormal or low lying at this appointment, I’ve been booked in for a 28 week scan to see if the placenta is growing in the uterine scar

Ahh I see, that’s really the main VBAC related question I’d have, is if it’s growing into scar. If at my 20 week scan it didn’t look like it had been growing into the scar, I personally wouldn’t be very worried or concerned. Hopefully the 28 week scan will confirm that it isn’t growing into the scar. 🤞🏼 If I had a healthy uncomplicated anterior placenta I would be happy and not worried at all. ☺️ I’m pretty sure I have an anterior placenta again and I’m booking my anatomy scan in just a couple weeks. 🤞🏼 I’m hoping all continues to be healthy and uncomplicated for both of us!
