Measuring big - v nervous

I’m 30w+3 with my second child and have been advised that I need to have a growth scan early next week as I’m measuring 4w ahead. The below chart has really scared me, specifically how much larger I am measuring vs my last MW appointment. Has anyone experienced similar? I’m wondering if it will be a one off scan or whether they’ll want to continue monitoring. TIA

We’re due date twins! I actually have the opposite, I’m currently measuring small below the 3rd centile line. A midwife told me not to worry too much as I am tall and have a long body. Your height and torso length might be affecting the result too?

Fundal height measurements are known for being outdated and inaccurate. They can’t measure the size of your baby by your belly so it’s very likely that when you have a growth scan your measurements will be fine. There’s so much that can go into your bump size also depends on the midwife as they all measure differently. I would try not to worry x

As above, they are so inaccurate try not to worry. Babies positioning could have just affected the measurement to be bigger this time. I had the same measurement (just over 90%) for my first appointment and got sent for a growth scan and she’s actually 31%. I don’t have any further follow up scans, bump still measures bigger (around 90%) It’s common with 2nd babies to have a bigger bump.

What I would say is that measuring the fundal height is all down to personal opinion and so easy to incorrectly add a cm on! 2 Midwives measured mine on my last appointment and one got 36 and one got 32!

Ive been told bump is too small and then too big, 3 weeks apart. Had two scans. Baby was perfectly normal size both times and is growing at a total normal rate. Bump measurements are so dumb haha
