Showers

My daughter hates shower time. She screams so much and won’t stay still and wriggles so much that I’m scared she’ll hurt herself. She has shoulder length hair and I try to make sure I’m washing her hair properly but she makes it very difficult. How shall I tackle this shower situation as it’s shower day tomorrow and I’m already nervous as my partner won’t be home to help 🥲

If it's tricky at the moment can you just swap days around so that you shower her on days your partner is home, even if it means a shower two days in a row sometimes?

My little girl had started hating showers and baths as well, I’ve been having to get in the bath with her 🙃🙄x

@Sophie he’s only free once a week and I like to bathe her 2-3 times a week🥲

@Katie Norris I have thought about this! Does it make a difference to you?

Oh fair enough, that must be tricky with him around so little

No it’s quite cute, obviously it’s not as warm or as deep as I’d like it 😂 but if I partner isn’t in to get the baby out, I have my dressing gown handy and il ge tout first dry myself and put dressing gown on fast, then get her out x

I have a shower in the morning with my little one with me. She happily plays with her toys in the water while I shower and loves standing under it as well. Sometimes I hold her and she puts her head on my shoulder and we enjoy the shower together. It's really cute. Getting in together is much more fun. After I get out do the rest of my routine and then get her out.

Shower with her !! My girl loves it I let her hold the shower head and wash everything she loves it then get the hair washing done as quick as possible to get back to playing before a meltdown 😆
