Umbilical Hernia
Anyone else’s LO have an umbilical hernia? My baby’s seems to have gotten larger, but she is eating/sleeping normally and I can still squish it back in when she is relaxed. Looking for advice on when these usually go away and if I should be concerned that it has grown in size

@Sophie phew! I’m glad to hear that it getting bigger isn’t something alarming. It definitely looks daunting but isn’t causing her problems! Thanks for sharing
My little girl is 8 weeks and has one. Dr said as long as it's soft, can be pushed in and isn't bothering her it's not a concern xxx

Yes my baby has one. My baby's got bigger and bigger until she was about 3 or 4 months, I went to a doctor actually because everyone around me was so horrified and telling me it wasn't normal (it was). Doctor said they usually go away by 18 months but my baby's started reducing when she was learning to roll and sit as her tummy muscles strengthened. Now at 9 months it's just like excess skin which I'm hoping will stretch out as she grows.
