Partner’s

Hi I know this is random but I’m just trying to settle something, do you think it’s a lot if your partner goes out 3 times a week while your home with the baby every single day? And he rarely (if ever) does bed and bath time or anything like that

Yes!!!!

Hell yeah! I've been through this, he's even pointed at her and stated 'this is your fault' 'we could be having a nice easy life but instead we have her' 😭 never helps out, always criticising and moaning about how we don't have time together but never does anything with her

@incognito yes it is alot, especially when he isn't helping at all. Sounds like he's making any excuse not to be in the house @Leonie wow that's soo cruel, should have told him if you know where the door is because baby comes first

Yes. Going out once a month or so would be sufficient.

Men 🙄

@Leonie I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s quite toxic. It’s not long until your baby fully understands what he means. Awful.

@Kay oh he's gone, I will not have my daughters confidence and development affected my that kind of toxicity

Mine doesn’t go out with friends but is regularly away with work; either staying one or two nights in London or longer trips between 1-3 weeks abroad. I obviously don’t hold the work trips against him but I don’t feel he understands or appreciates what it’s like being home all day and night with three kids aged 1/8/12. When he’s home he will regularly put the 8 yr old to bed but that’s very quick; he’s bathed the 1 year old once and put him to bed twice. I love the one year old to bits but sometimes feel a little suffocated as I don’t get any time alone.
