How do you keep the water out of your little one’s eyes and face when washing their hair?

Yes vip works well and I’ve also taught my LO to look down which helps. You could try teaching them to look down or up and that should help avoid eyes and face when dropping water in hair

You can put a folded up flannel over their forehead, encourage them to tip their head back, use a cup rather than shower head, much easier to control the flow, you can also buy plastic headbands that create a shield. But also good to get them used to water on their face for swimming, make it a game, get in the bath with them. As for shampoo, most kids brands are sting free.
