Sicky baby
My little boy is 5 weeks old and has projectile vomited twice in the last 2 days both times about half hour after a feed and he’s been sat up both times. He’s also been bringing a little milk up after most feeds. I kept him upright for half hour after a feed and he’s totally happy in himself anyone else experiencing this?

Yes my baby spits up at all feeds but I know that is normal. However he does projectile/large volume a few times a week.
It’s good to know I’m not alone! I’m taking baby to get weighed tomorrow so will mention it to them. I just don’t want to put him down cos I’m scared he’ll be sick 😞
Have you tried a sling/ carrier? Really useful for round the house and out and about as keeps them upright.
My boy is nearly 7 weeks and we definitely have one big vomit every now and then (never more than once per day) he just soaked me this morning He is happy and gaining weight so just hoping he’ll grow out of it soon!
@Leonie I tried the carrier but didn’t get on with it. I might look in to getting a sling see if that’s any different

Yup - we have the same for two weeks now. Sounds like reflux! I have popped into a feeding clinic each week just to get her weighed and checked over and she’s gaining weight really well and otherwise healthy so we’re just waiting out her growing out of it. No matter how long we keep her upright she’s sick after feeds, often multiple times.
