There's still time but honestly all the ones I've dealt with in Bedford have been as useful as a chocolate teapot so I declined their services for our second baby, so I wouldn't hold my breath they will be on time or even show up today. If they do turn up it'll be well after the time specified most likely

I had a letter and then the day before had a phone call to say who it was that was visiting. HV showed up on the day and was here for about 20 minutes discussing mainly what their role is and how they will be more involved after the birth.
Just up put it out there it's an optional service so don't feel like you have to deal with them if you don't want to you can opt out easily with no issues
I found it very hit and miss with health visitors. Sometimes they'd ring and arrange something very short notice and other times I wouldn't get the visit at all!
