I will be letting my Lo have a little bit but honestly not a lot as the sugar intake but it’s her first birthday and it’s a special day. We are having a little party so there will be cake so I don’t want to leave her out. But we will be looking for a cake with as little sugar as possible.

Ive ordered a cake from the local bakery and will let her try a very small piece

my little one wasn’t interested 😂 just played with the chocolate decorations

We have her a whole cake for a cake smash and str literally are the berries off the top 🤣 you might find babe isn’t even interested if you do go for a normal cake x

@Renata exact same with my daughter! She had birthday cake and slept through the night on her birthday!🤣 normally she wakes up 1-2!

No cake for the little one, he had the berries off the cake. He doesn’t know any better and berries are as much joy as anything else. Want to keep added sugar away from him for as long as I can (circa 2 years).

We offered my son a bit of carrot cake and Victoria sponge but he didn't really want much of it to be honest!! He prefers healthy food 🤣

No, I made a sugar-free smash cake for my daughter. It actually tasted alright, a bit like banana bread. She picked all the raspberries off her cake really delicately, so much for smash! Similarly, trying to get to 2 with no refined sugars if we can

It’s her birthday, she eats so so well I’m super lucky so yes, she can absolutely enjoy a slice of her cake ❤️
