C section babies tummy help

Hi mamas - I know babies born via c section don’t get the good gut bacteria that vaginal birth babies do, so what has helped your babies?? I know probiotics but I want to do everything I can to help her body create a good strong digestive system. So if you have any tips, please share!!

Have a look into vaginal seeding which can be done with a c-section birth! That’s what I intend to do as I’ve heard it helps to give the baby the good bacteria it misses out on! Xxx

Unless of course you’ve already had baby, which of course this would make no sense 😂😂😂

I intended to give probiotics to a newborn (before had an unplanned C Section), but my OB at that time said that in case of breastfeeding/combo feeding I should take probiotics and baby will get it from the milk. Today we had our 2 month well baby visit and the Dr suggested to use baby probiotic drops combined with Vitamin D (less hustle administering it separately) since the amount of probiotics in the breastmilk is very low. She mentioned Gerber but they seem to be discontinued, so I got Mommy’s Bliss, but haven’t tried it yet to provide any feedback.

I'm an old c section baby, and there is nothing wrong with me. I don't even catch colds, so I wouldn't believe this too much 🤣
