Just to check in and see how you're doing. Answer any questions you may have and make sure you're prepared ☺️
@Kirsty do they check if you have everything ? And up and ready and stuff x
Most won't even look around your home. They just want to make sure you are OK and ready x
Same here! Voicemail they left said its a home visit. 3rd child and never had this before!
@Cheyenne No not at all. It's more of like a welfare check for you as a mum. It's honestly nothing to worry about. We have a large breed dog and I was worried I'd get questioned about how we'd be dealing with that but she didn't care at all with our first child 😅
I had a meeting over video call earlier this week! Just more of a wanting to get to know me and also asked about mental health. Second time so it was pretty straightforward
They just ask how you’re doing, if you have any worries etc. they don’t check your home or anything like that. They ask about safe sleeping and make sure you know about SIDs etc. HVa are great once you’ve had the baby, if you have any concerns about your baby they can refer you to eg physiotherapists, eczema teams etc.
Thank you everyone xx
I've had the same which I didn't have in my previous pregnancy but I've changed it to a telephone call instead as I can do that within my trust, curious myself as to what happens x
