Cute baby! Great view too. Beautiful pic - congratulations

Isn’t it st thomas hospital ? I gave birth to my second baby in the same hospital and got some photo with this view.

@Auntu it is! This is my second baby here too. Lovely views along the river 😊

Aww congrats I think we stayed in the same room or v similar view !

Many congratulations for a beautiful prince ❤️ How was your birth and postnatal experience at St thomas’s?

@Peanut Mom amazing. It’s my second baby here and it’s truly a lovely hospital with the best staff. Paid this time for a private room for a few days which is really relaxing and worthwhile for us. It’s my second Caesarean and I felt so safe and cared for xx

Oh my gosh my birthday twin so cute. Congratulations

Gorgeous ❤

How much is a private room? Had my c section in July there and the postnatal ward was awful for me ☹️

How much did you pay ? My experience was good at all but except one incident I was given epidural and after giving birth midwife told me to pack my things but I was totally alone I still tried but I fall down on the floor. It was really bad experience.

@Erica @Auntu it was £1050 for a day and a full night. We got our own room, private shower and bathroom, own midwife, multiple meals a day. Dad got his own pull out bed and stayed the whole time too, he was also fed and looked after. I had all my supplies provided like drugs, toiletries, towels, maternity pads, nappies, gowns, breast pump/milk collectors. I was monitored constantly and looked after amazingly, got peace and quiet to recover and lots of support with breastfeeding. I was never without help, even if I needed someone to help me to stand or with a nappy someone was there within a minute. I’d highly recommend for the rest tbh, I’m home now after my section and feel really healthy and supported

@Erica Same here! I had my baby in Sept at St Thomas Post natal ward/care stark contrast to the maternity unit /ward before you deliver It was super noisy too and they were short staffed Even the day room wasn’t as decent as the maternity unit and don’t start me in the staff 🙈😫😫😫 🧘🏾‍♀️

Congratulations 🥳 Glad to hear you’ve had a lovely experience Enjoy these precious early days with your new addition
