??

The doctor gave my baby this medicine, which is steroids because he has RSV for his congestion. I never known babies to take steroids, so can you please let me know if this is OK what do y’all think about it because I’m unsure.

Definitely give it to your baby! These steroids are going to help the inflammation and make it easier for your baby to breathe!

We’ve had to give it to our son twice, although a bit older. He was 20 months and again at 23 months. They made me a little nervous too but it was my understanding that it’s to help fast. You want to act fast so that they are on the mend quicker. Especially with something like RSV. Our son had bronchitis which was turning into pneumonia for some and landing them in the hospital. It definitely made him really hyper and a little crazy so be prepared for different behavior than you’re used to.

Thank yall , yall really made me feel better I was so nervous about giving it to him 🩶
