Russell means red haired so you can use a female version like Ruby or Roux

I would probably go with Luna Russ or feminise as Luna Russelle. It’s a nice gesture.

I looked at your profile I love our Daughter's name Bellamy Is a beautiful French english name Is very neutral name It can go for a girl or a boy but it remind me of the TV show 100 Bob Morley In the TV show he played Bellamy Blake And I loved his sister name Octavia That played in it too very unique back to the middle name a Russell maybe Blakely Russell 🥰

You do what you feel is right for you and your child! I love unique and special middle names. If you are on the edge, you can also just shorten Russell to Rue. Luna Rue sounds super cute

My kids middle names don’t necessarily align with their first because they are family names so they are Spanish while the names are gender neutral so I will have Jessi Angelita and Ryder Alaniz. It’s my way of honoring my family and heritage while also choosing the gender neutral names I’ve always loved
