First flight with baby.... Haven't booked a seat but requested basinette. How does the seating work? Do they normally place you and baby squashed up beside someone or do they try and give you leg room

Hey love, I use to be cabin crew (UK) and normally if you are booking a basinette they will put you in the front row of seats so the basinette will be in front of you. Correct me if I’m wrong though!! Xx🩷

It’s okay:) I’m just trying to think haha, they can’t put you in any other seat as there physically won’t be any room and dangerous having baby in the isle, maybe contact customer services to be 100% sure!!🩷

If I may ask, what airline are you flying with? I didn't even know a bassinet was an option...
