@Tasmin can I ask why you didn’t like the fire pls?
@Jolo there’s no YouTube kids app, which is primarily what we bought it for for long car journeys etc. we had to use the actual website and she couldn’t navigate it like she can the app. You have to scroll down the page instead of across the bottom of that makes sense? So she ended up using a phone while we were driving which wasn’t ideal in case someone phoned us or whatever
@Tasmin oh ok yes that makes sense. We use YouTube primarily so I am not sure it would work for us also! Might get a new battery put in her iPad. Thanks for the info xx
@Jolo honestly just get the new battery in the iPad. The kids tablet is still in the cupboard, it’s been used twice

Can echo everything @Tasmin said, we also had the Amazon fire tablet and stopped using it after a short while as it was lagging and doesn’t have YT it YT kids. We also have an iPad now and sometimes our toddler is allowed it for a bit x
@Irita we use ours for long car rides etc or if I just need 10 minutes to put the washing out on the line or something, much prefer the iPad to the fire tablet
@Tasmin Amazon need to get YouTube on their tablets cause they’re useless otherwise
@Irita exactly, make a tablet aimed at kids…. Don’t make the only app they really want available for them 😂 it really makes sense 😂
We had the Amazon fire kids tablet and we all hated it. We’ve just bought a communal iPad and our 2 year old can navigate it quite well (YouTube etc)
