Postpartum 😥❤️‍🩹

I feel so happy and complete with my first child arriving a few days before expected due date. But can we get into the body after giving birth. How are yall feeling? What’s your experience? Self care tips for after giving birth?

I’m worried about that. How are you feeling mama? Go ahead and vent as I haven’t had my baby yet.

Preggo with number 4, I think the biggest thing I remember is kinda just feeling like my body isn’t mine anymore for a while. I like taking baths to relax and for me time. Of course after baby I can’t do that until I get the okay from doc around 6 weeks pp. so I’m gonna try to take some nice showers instead. But it’s hard when you exclusively breastfeed bc some days you feel like you are doing nothing but that all day lol or pumping! Definitely let anyone around you help out around the house as much as possible. I’m planning on staying pretty much in bed for the first week after coming home. My partner and father will be helping me with the other kiddos! My youngest is gonna be 5 right before baby comes so I’m not dealing with littles so it’s a bit easier for me than if I had a 2 year old or something!

I try to do one long shower a day with a facial treatment and a devotional or prayer and day for motivation. However, my emotions are bouncy. I'm either sad and crying, or just crying, or happy. I plan when I go for my blood pressure to ask to talk to someone because they're too out of control.

@Fran my body feels weird I’m not going to lie. Lower back pain and obviously the vaginal pain. Everything contracting back to its normal place. I gotta do everything slow, can’t stand for too long. Imma active person so I feel weird lol. But I wanna make sure I heal properly.

@Kira thank you so much 😊 this is good advice.
