Exactly the same as above. If he’s got himself too worked up too he will find it difficult to latch. Just remember to not to panic as he won’t just decide he doesn’t want your milk x
It could be worth trying a new position when he's being fussy? This helped me earlier in the week- baby was being fussy about feeding in normal cradle hold so I tried the rugby position instead- lie a pillow by your side, baby lies on it and then feeds coming round your side with your hand supporting under their head if they makes sense!? Failing that lying down on side with baby lying along side can work well.if they're fussy before bed x
He’s had one feed but none of the above working 😭 he wasn’t crying before I offered the Breast and the minute he latched he took himself off crying! I’m worried about him not gaining enough weight so a feeding strike is the last thing we need!!!
Has he got wind? Mine does this if he is uncomfortable with trapped wind or needing to burp. I find that bicycles kicks help to release it and then he’s able to feed again x
Mine does this when he’s either tired or has wind. I personally put him on my shoulder and give his back a little rub and walk around singing to him and then try again to latch ones he’s calmed down xx
Nope no wind just seems to hate me today 😞

@Melissa oh amazing post thank you! X
My LO sometimes does when either the flow is too strong, the flow is too slow or sometimes she is just tired and cranky so I do skin to skin on my chest and she starts rooting and then she feeds without the fuss eventually. Sometimes she also does this if she needs to burp!
